Our Story 📖

Kiddies Island Hair Salon opened its doors in August 2025 with a simple mission: to make children's haircuts enjoyable and fun. We know that sitting still for a trim isn't always easy, so we've created a fun and friendly space where kids can play or watch a movie and have fun.

Vera has with 20 years of experience in hairdressing in children and adults hair.


She offers a wide variety of hairstyling options, including blow drying, hair bradding hair up, she makes sure every child feels comfortable and at ease during their salon visit.


With a background in working with children with special needs ADHD and autism, Vera has extensive experience to help them feel more confident and relaxed during the haircutting process.

Below is our 2025 price list. From time to time, prices may change — but we’ll always let you know in advance. We also run occasional special offers, which you can hear about through our team or social media.

✂️ Dry cuts involve gently spraying the hair with water, followed by a rough dry. (No wash or blow-dry included.)

What age ranges do you cater for? 👶👧👦
We welcome All children from birth to teenagers. Our Hair Stylists are experienced to work with all age groups and temperaments.
What if my child is scared or uncooperative? 😰
Our stylists are experienced with anxious children. We use have entertainment available, and can work at your child's pace. Parents can stay close for comfort.
Do you require appointments or accept walk-ins? 📅
We primarily work by appointment to ensure minimal waiting time. However, we do accept walk-ins subject to availability.
What payment methods do you accept? 💳
We accept cash, all major credit/debit cards, and contactless payments including Apple Pay and Google Pay.
How do I cancel or reschedule my appointment? 📅
Please give us at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or changes. You can call us at 01923 593 259 to change or cancel the appointment. Same-day cancellations may incur a £10 fee.
What happens if I'm late or don't show up? ⏰
If you're more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule to avoid delays for other customers. No-shows without 24-hour notice will be charged 50% of the service cost. We understand emergencies happen - please call us on 01923 593 259!
Can I book online or do I need to call? 📱
You can book through our Online Booking System with Treatwell or call us directly. For same-day appointments, please call us on 01923 593 259 as we may have last-minute availability.
